Is the Dwarf-Mockup EXE file important for using this? When I was unzipping the file (it ends up being 559 MB, 567 MB on disk) I got a warning from McAffee saying a virus tried to "attack" me:Īnyone know what this JTI suspect stuff refers to? UPDATE 2: I was able to get it to work by not putting the folder into Documents\MyGames\DwarfFortress and instead, just going up one folder. Couldn't you just rewrite the problem file with 'chown user:admin problem.file'? I can't even find ' launcher.py' in the files and the stderr.txt file is just a redirect to stderr.log. I've only been trying it uncompressed though, and tried on Desktop. Try it out on the desktop first, there's no traditional installer, so it's best not to run it in system folders.
